    Biography of Jasmin Glaesser

    Jasmin Glaesser is a Canadian track cyclist of German origin. She is a bronze medalist in the team pursuit at the 2012 Summer Olympics, a multiple medalist at the World Championships, a three-time champion at the Pan American Games, and a multiple-time champion of Canada.

    In 2000, Jasmin and her family moved to Seattle, and a year later they relocated to Vancouver, where her father was offered a job at Simon Fraser University. In 2009, Glaesser became actively involved in track cycling. She obtained Canadian citizenship in September 2011.

    Her first major competition was the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, where Glaesser, along with Laura Brown and Stephanie Roorda, won the gold medal in the team pursuit. At the 2012 World Championships in Melbourne, Glaesser earned two cha
