    Actor Ajith Kumar’s father P Subramaniam Mani died on Friday in his sleep at his residence. A statement from the family confirmed that he was suffering from old age-related illness for a long time. He was 85. Reportedly, police have been deployed at his residence for support and additional security. He is survived by his wife and three sons--Ajith, Anil, and Anup.
